ASUS ROG Phone 6 series launched in India and globally last year and the models in the lineup shipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 and MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC. Now, it appears the brand is gearing up to debut the ROG Phone 7 series. A new report by The Tech Outlook citing tipster Paras Guglani has shared some details about the phones ahead of the launch probably later this year. The ROG Phone 7 series is said to include three models this time around: the vanilla ROG Phone 7, ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, and ROG Phone 7D.
The ROG Phone 7 Indian variant will have the model number AI2205_C and the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate global will have the model number AI2205_E. Lastly, the ROG Phone 7D will have the model number AI2205_D. Unlike last time, the ROG Phone 7D will debut alongside the regular models this time.

All three models will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC. The ROG Phone 7 is said to feature 16GB RAM and 256GB of storage. The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate will offer 512GB of internal storage. All the phones are likely to boot Android 13 OS out of the box and they will have an AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. The phones will come with a cooling mechanism to regulate thermals.
The report doesn’t reveal details regarding the battery capacity cameras, and others as the rest of the details about the phones are under wraps, for now but we might come across more details shortly.
