In a continued onslaught of new EV scooters in the market, popular electric scooter maker Okaya EV has unveiled its latest Faast F2F e-scooter, which comes into the market at an affordable price point. Taking on the Ola S1 Air and Bajaj Chetak, the Okaya Faast F2F will offer yet another option to the increasingly growing range of options for electric scooters in India, under the Rs 1 lakh price point.

Talking about the Okaya Faast F2F’s price in India, the scooter has been launched at a price of Rs 83,999 (ex-showroom) across the country. The scooter carries with it 2 years or 20,000km of warranty coverage, which is accessible at Okaya EV’s pan-India service centres. Furthermore, a big highlight of this scooter is the wide range of colour options available. The EV will be sold in Metallic Black, Metallic Cyan, Matte Green, Metallic Grey, Metallic Silver, and Metallic White, to suit every rider’s preferences. The scooter can now be purchased at any of Okaya EV’s dealerships.

Let’s now talk about the range and the top speeds of this new Okaya electric scooter. The Okaya Faast F2F comes with a claimed range of 80km on a single charge. This means that it is fairly decent when it comes to office commute and is a great choice when you need it for short runs like those for groceries or to pick your kids up from school.
An 800W BLDC hub motor under the hood makes the Faast F2F capable of top speeds of up to 55kmph, which is adjustable via Eco, City and Sports modes. As for charging, the scooter can take up to 5 hours to charge to 100 per cent with its bundled charger. However, it will likely support fast charging via other chargers as well.
In terms of suspension, the e-scooter comes with telescopic front suspension and spring-loaded hydraulic rear suspension. And, the scooter comes with features such as a remote key, LED headlamp, digital instrument cluster, and 10-inch tubeless tyres.
