The much-awaited Vivo V27 series is coming sooner than you expected. Flipkart, in one of its Google ads, seems to have accidentally teased that the upcoming V27 and V27 Pro from Chinese smartphone maker Vivo will be launched globally in India next month. This update comes after several weeks of rumours, renders, and sightings of the two smartphones phones on the usual suspects such as benchmarking websites, teasers from the brand, and renders from Internet sleuths. Here is a look at the Vivo V27 series launch details:

Vivo V27, V27 Pro India launch date

As confirmed by Flipkart (screenshot), the Vivo V27 series will launch in India on March 1st. We understand that some readers might not be able to see this teaser from Flipkart anymore, as the website now shows “Coming Soon”, but 91mobiles has independently verified that it is indeed the correct launch date for the upcoming smartphones.

Vivo V27, V27 Pro specifications

Both the Vivo V27 and the V27 Pro have been spotted and leaked several times in the past, leaving almost nothing to the imagination. In fact, now Vivo’s website also lists down key specifications of the two smartphones.

Starting with the V27 Pro, the smartphone is expected to sport a curved display design, with a punch-hole selfie camera design and a triple rear camera setup. The cameras on the back will be spearheaded by the latest Sony IMX 766V camera sensor, which has OIS capabilities. Furthermore, the landing page reveals the phone will sport a 120Hz 3D display with 60-degree screen curvature and a colour-changing glass design.

Just this month, the V27 Pro price in India was leaked online. It was suggested that the smartphone will sport a retail price of Rs 41,999, which leads most to believe that the actual selling price will be around Rs 40,000. This could further be sweetened with the help of launch offers and card discounts.

91mobiles exclusive report also reveals that the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 flagship SoC will be behind the hood in the V27 Pro, while the V27 could be the first in a non-Pro series to sport a curved design.
